Accessibility / WCAG 2.2

A website that works for everyone.

Aquizzit uses WCAG 2.2 level AA as its technical and editorial baseline. The site supports keyboard operation, screen readers, zoom, visible focus and reduced motion.

What has been implemented?

  • a direct skip link to the main content;
  • visible keyboard focus and logical operation;
  • semantic headings, labels, status messages and navigation;
  • sufficient contrast and scalable, readable text;
  • usable touch targets on mobile and tablet;
  • alternative text or decorative marking for images;
  • support for the system ‘reduce motion’ preference;
  • responsive content without horizontal loss when zoomed.

Status

The P0 findings from the 28 July 2026 audit have been fixed, and the automated retest passed. A formal conformance claim still requires manual checks with keyboard navigation, zoom and screen readers.

The standard is available from W3C.
