# WCAG 2.2 AA – extended Aquizzit accessibility report

**Date:** 29 July 2026
**Websites:** aquizzit.nl and aquizzit.com
**Standard:** WCAG 2.2, levels A and AA
**Status:** technical test report; not a formal conformance claim

## Summary

The automated audit now includes keyboard scenarios and Chromium accessibility
tree checks. A total of 44 regression checks were run and passed:

- 26 axe-core page audits: 13 Dutch and 13 English public pages;
- 10 keyboard tests: 5 scenarios per language;
- 8 screen-reader-semantics checks: 4 pages per language.

Contrast, prohibited ARIA attributes, dialog semantics and focus-management
issues found during this work were corrected.

## Keyboard scenarios

The following scenarios are automatically tested in each language:

1. the skip link moves focus to the main content;
2. an FAQ item opens without a mouse;
3. Ask Aquizzit opens, moves focus logically, closes with Escape and returns
   focus to its launcher;
4. the Sourcing Radar search accepts and selects a suggestion without a mouse;
5. a Procurement Maturity Scan answer can be selected entirely by keyboard.

## Screen-reader semantics

The Chromium accessibility tree is checked on the homepage, Sourcing Radar,
Procurement Maturity Scan and Supplier Top 250 for:

- a recognisable main landmark;
- one named main heading;
- accessible names for interactive elements;
- valid roles for links, buttons, inputs and selection controls.

## Manual VoiceOver review

An automated accessibility tree does not replace a real screen-reader session.
Aquizzit therefore publishes a separate VoiceOver protocol:

`/downloads/voiceover-test-protocol-aquizzit.md`

It contains twelve Safari on macOS scenarios covering navigation, language
switching, menus, scans, search controls, dialog focus, forms and dynamic
status messages.

## Still required before a conformance claim

- run the VoiceOver protocol in Safari on macOS;
- perform an additional NVDA review in Firefox or Chrome on Windows;
- manually test at 200% and 400% zoom;
- test physical mobile devices with VoiceOver and TalkBack;
- audit the protected client portal after authentication.

Until these manual reviews are completed, Aquizzit does not present this report
as a formal WCAG 2.2 AA conformance statement.
